I think it is a true shame that many of the youth of today are clueless to Curtis Mayfield and his truly original sound!! Noone can even come close!! Kung Fu forever!!

I hope my vote is to rate the music of a master. I play Mayfield tunes today and I swear they are as relevant now as then. Don't get it twisted, much (societal) progress has been made.

Curtis is the BEST!!! We need to educate our young men and women in his soulful funk about life in the streets. He was trying to educate people before it became fashionable...He lives on forever in his music.
